Ms. KEO Sophany is a legal advisor at PISSOTH & Associates Law Office.

PROFEESIONAL EXPERIENCE

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Ms. Keo Sophany pursued a Master degree in Public Contract Law at the University of Lumière Lyon II in France under the Excéllence d’Eiffel Scholarship.

Prior to joining the Office of Pissoth & Associate, she worked at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. After completing this job, she joined the Labor Dispute Department of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. Currently, she is also a lecturer in law at the Royal University of Law and Economics. During this time, she has been involved in drafting laws and regulations on construction, urban planning and land, labor disputes, drafting contract and other legal documents in both Khmer and English and participate in resolving labor disputes.

In addition to Khmer, she can speak and write English and French very well.

EDUCATION

– January-June 2022: Diploma in Cambodian Business Law, CamEd Business School.

-2017-2019: Master of Public Law in Public Contract at Lumière Lyon II University, France, under the EIFFEL Scholarship.

-2014-2017: Bachelor’s degree in comparative law, Royal University of Law and Economics, University Lumière Lyon 2 relocated at Phnom Penh.
